Even though I love me some fall, I’m kind of unwilling to let my summer wardrobe go. Must be the West Coast in me – I love that eternal summer!
For a recent work trip to Seattle, I packed this romper from City Chic. It’s long sleeved but still lightweight. Knowing it would be chilly, I invested in some good opaque tights to take this summer staple right into fall. Adding black opaque tights to this romper and pairing it with black shoes created a nice, long line that is flattering and elongates my body.

I know it’s tempting to go the cheap route on hosiery, but I’d really like to encourage you to think a bit differently. Cheaper plus size tights will usually get runs in them, fall apart – and if you’re lucky, you’ll get 1-3 wears from them. By spending a bit more, you’ll get great quality tights that will take you through the whole season. My favorite are from Lane Bryant (especially if you’d like them for work) and Torrid (if you want your basics covered + some sassy options). Higher end tights will run around $20 – but always keep an eye out for coupons!

glam style notes: this romper runs half a size large – I’m wearing a 16. the tights are thick and comfy, I’m wearing a size 1/2. the gold belt comes with the romper, and if you live in california, you may still be able to find this piece at your local city chic store, or at nordstrom.
glam beauty notes: on my eyes is the burberry blushed nudes palette and on my lips is solow from colourpop
