Make Summer Last

There’s this place in Malibu, on the coast.
There, wildflowers dance when the breeze runs through them. The wildflower patch is at the top of the cliff and they almost seem to look down at the ocean below it, their dance reminiscent of a cheer every time the water crashes against the rocks. As you walk down the path, the tall grass and tiny flowers welcome you, in shades of yellow and red and blue. It’s so romantic and idyllic. The air is alive with the fragrance of the cool ocean and laughter from below. I brought the memories home with me and tried to re-create the magic at home.

Heat Wave

Summer is right around the corner and I don’t know about you, but I. AM. READY. Bright colors, shorts, pools and frozen drinks are all I can think about these days! I partnered with Gwynnie Bee to bring you guys a 3-look lookbook to inspire you for all of your summer adventures.

Signature Swim

You guys, this swim combo gives me life. So much so that when my good friend Sarah saw me in it, she exclaimed (in a very good way) “OMG YOU LOOK LIKE MTV SPRING BREAK LIVE FROM MIAMI!!!” Aaannddd I…

Simple Sunday

While I try to bring you the utmost in glam on the blog, I have to admit that just like everyone else, I have dressed down days. I try to keep those days limited to Sunday, where most of my house chores and grocery shopping is done. On those days, I opt for something comfortable and flowy, and above all easy to run around in.

Bright White

Black is a glorious safety blanket for me. It minimizes things I don’t want seen and maximizes everything else (not to mention how bomb they look with a tan) – but white? White just seems like a walk on the wild side… for lots of reasons. First, because you can’t hide in white – everything is visible – everything you WANT to be visible and even things you don’t. Secondly, if you’re even the tiniest bit clumsy (like me) you spend the entire time counting down the hours until your Starbucks ends up on your dress. But, I had to face my fears.
